Arjuna - an epic character from the Mahabharata
illustrated by Satadhama devi dasi
Arjuna is the eternal devotee and friend of Lord Krishna. It is due to this special qualification, on top of all his other wonderful qualities, that he was chosen by the Lord to receive the instructions of the Bhagavad-gita.
Arjuna is also the world's greatest archer. The Lord empowered him as His savyasachin (instrument) and personally guided him and steered his war chariot to victory over all his opponents in the great battle between dharma and adharma on the sacred plains of Kurukshetra five thousand years ago.
Arjuna and his brothers, the Pandavas, are the eternal associates of the Lord. They assist the Lord whenever He descends to the material world to perform His pastimes.
This illustrated easy-reader will help children learn more about Arjuna's wonderful qualities and feats.
